JANEEMO food trial underway
2nd February 2009The JANEEMO team has been invited to participate in a food trial of moringa by The University of Malawi. Moringa is one of the three crops being grown under the JANEEMO system.
Moringa contains a number of vitamin and other dietary requirements.
The trial will include an analysis of the chemical and biochemical constituents of moringa, and its suitability as a food supplement.
It is hoped that the JANEEMO programme will eventually provide a moringa food supplement to Malawian school children.
