Sage footprint measures up
Climate Futures has completed the Sage carbon footprint.
The software firm is now considering a number of carbon saving initiatives, including detailed energy monitoring and management, switching to green electricity, incentives for cycling to work and green fleet vehicles. Sage UK is leading on CSR and setting an example amongst the 27 countries in which the business operates.
The footprint included emissions from energy, transport and waste. It was calculated for all major offices and the warehouse. Furthermore, average emissions per capita were calculated, and benchmarked against similar businesses and industry energy indicators. The footprint was undertaken alongside an energy efficiency review by TNEI.
